Collection of data when visiting our website

By the mere informational use of our website (that is, if you use the website without registering or transmitting any other information), we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. When you contact us by e-mail or via the contact form, we will store the information you have provided in order to process your request. We will not share this information without your consent. We delete the data in this connection after the storage is not always necessary or limit the processing, if there are statutory storage requirements.

Processing of membership applications

The data requested by us within the scope of the membership application are collected for the processing of your membership application to the German-Afghan Society e.V. (DAGeV) and the associated subdivisions. After positive confirmation of your application for admission your data will be used to fulfill the obligations of the membership. In particular, this includes invitations to DAGeV events.

The legal basis of the processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b) GDPR.

Registration for conferences, delegations, trade fair trips etc.

It exists, u.U. also for non-members, the opportunity to participate in events – such as conferences, delegation trips, trade fair trips and other events. We process the data collected for the registration and execution of the respective event exclusively for this purpose. Subject to any statutory retention periods, we will delete your data as soon as it is no longer required for the fulfillment of your purpose or your membership with us. You will receive further information as part of the registration for the specific event.

Orders via the website of the German-Afghan Society e.V.

The personal data given in the context of your order, we use exclusively for the processing of your order. Your contact details will be sent to our logistics partner in order to deliver the goods. Subject to any commercial, income tax or other statutory retention periods, we will delete your data after the order has been processed.

Disclosure of data

In individual cases, your data may be forwarded to a service provider who performs tasks for the German-Afghan Association e.V. We carefully select the service providers commissioned by us and ensure through appropriate contracts that your data is processed in compliance with data protection laws.
